After carefully considering your thoughtful survey comments (and thank you!)–I made a decision.
Um…I know it sounds a bit narcissistic, but I missed seeing my name up there on the blog title. So after all that head-scratching thinking, it’s back to Cathy C. Hall in the header.
And as much as I liked coming up with tag lines–and your input–I decided that I just needed to say I was a writer. But “Cathy C. Hall, Writer” lacked a certain…oh, what’s the dang word? Which made me immediately think of the dictionary! So I zipped right to it and there it was, the perfectly jazzed-up version of writer (and a fairly good description of …well, me):
(n.) a person engaged in writing books, articles, stories, etc., especially as an occupation.
But I couldn’t just leave all that fishy thinking, floating about. And a wee bit of humor is always a fun hook. So if you’ll take a look over in the sidebar, you’ll see where it landed.
(And P.S. the now older and wiser Cathy C. Hall is trying out Carbonite as a way of storing her files. I’ll let you know how that goes. Also, I’m getting ready to take a shower. So…um, yeah. The blog could look totally different later. But the office aroma will definitely improve.)
Cute – LOVE it! Enjoy that shower – okay? 😉
Thanks, Joanne! The shower was lovely–and so far, no new blog ideas. 🙂
Hi Cathy! I waffled back and forth too between using my name or a catchy title. I decided to stick with my name. After all, it’s me I want people to find, and if they’re looking for me how would they know it when they found it. (That is a lot of me and I isn’t it?) 🙂
Yep, Juliana, I agree completely! Wait! I mean, I want people to find ME, too. (Though it’s swell if they find you as well). 🙂
I too get great ideas in the shower. What’s up with that? Your website is professionally cute.
Cathy–You hooked me, as usual. And as many ideas as you have, you must take lots of showers.
Trust Sioux to get to the heart of the matter. I’d never thought of that before. 🙂 Glad you figured out what suits you, and as usual, it works perfectly. I always knew you were a hooker at heart. Hahaha!
