Friday’s Fun Find: ze frank’s true facts

I came across ze frank and his True Facts videos a while ago, and though they are definitely not suitable for work, they are definitely the kind of science films I would’ve liked to see when I was in 6th grade.

Which should tell you all you really need to know about ze frank and his True Facts. If you need a little juvenile (but fascinating) fun, enjoy. If you’re thinking you have better things to do than watch an octopus (or any of ze frank’s animals) and learn about their strange (but fascinating!) penes, then move along, folks. Nothing to see here.

(Also, in my defense, this particular True Facts has a writing connection to children’s books. It’s an excellent tip, and well worth watching.)

  1. Hahaha . . .*wipes tears* . . . hahaha . . . *snorts* . . . haha, hehe . . . oh, I needed that! And I learned something, too! Now I have to drag my husband in here so I have an excuse to watch this again. Really, now. I’m not going to get any work done for awhile.

    • Uh-oh. You’re gonna get sucked into the True Facts vortex–I feel duty-bound to warn you about the one on ducks. You will never look at them the same. EVER. 🙂

  2. I initially thought, ‘I’ll watch a half minute of this, and will then will go on to something else,’ and of course, I was pulled in by the charm of the eight arms of the octopus. Or is one of those arms a penis?

Maybe I’ll just wave a greeting, instead of trying to shake hands…
