Finding a Market: ICL Newsletter

Even before I signed up to take the Writing for Children’s class at the Institute for Children’s Lit, I used to hang out at the site, reading and dreaming.

The great thing (for a cheap-o like me) is that you don’t have to be a student to read the articles or the ICL e-news. I picked up plenty of writing tips, absolutely free. Eventually, I signed up for the e-news so I wouldn’t miss it. Now, every Thursday, I read every word. This Thursday was a little different.

There in the ICL e-news were my very own words! You can read my article on “Organizing My Writing Life” and get a few free tips for yourself. And who knows? Maybe one day you’ll see your name in the ICL e-news, published in a new market, or at the top of one of those nifty articles.

Dreams can come true, it can happen for you…but only if you keep on writing!
