‘Tis the week before Christmas at the old Hall of Fame,
And I found something fun, a jolly word game!
Take a look at the cards that I’m posting each day-
and see if you know the tune it will play.
The art’s not so great, but y’all are great thinkers.
Now don’t peek below, you bunch of old stinkers–
Until you’ve made a guess, or maybe a few.
And happy Christmas to all (and Hanukkah, too!)
(Answers: Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow and O Christmas Tree)
Ha! Good ones, Miss Cathy C! I couldn't get the first one, but I saw O Christmas Tree right away. So, 50%…uh, what is that an F?!
I guessed them both! Not bad for a Jewish kid!
Becky, I had a time with the first one, too!Not too shabby, Gail! Come back tomorrow and see how you do…;-)
Great game, Cathy. I got the second, but not the first.
I got the first one, and was sure I had the second one as well. I scrolled down while arrogantly thinking, "Challenge me, already!" Only to find that the second one was NOT Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire. Which is no reflection on your artwork, but a look into my gaming technique.
I thought the first one was I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas – ha. But I got the second one! Fun.
Here I thought myself not only pretty savvy at solving puzzles, and familiar with most Christmas tunes, but I admit I'm stuck on the first one. Maybe there are too many options in my head. I don't know. But I console myself that I got the second one rather quickly.
I got the first one right away but I was stumped on the second – I got the "Christmas Tree" part but not the "O." "O" well! 🙂
Okay, dear friends (and creative thinkers), you have another chance. Now let's put those Santa Thinking Caps on…
I had to check back…The first one is "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow" ???I thought that might have been it, but the columns and numbers confused me… I couldn't figure out why there was 1-2-3… and where's the "Let"?
