I’d just like to say that 2014 is going to be bigger, brighter, and better than ever!
I’d like to say that, but honestly, it’s only January 3rd and I’m flat wore out. Thank goodness I found these nifty 2014 planning tools over at Literautus, and thank double goodness that they’re free.
Admittedly, I’ve always printed out calendar pages in the beginning of the year and posted markets, deadlines, and events. But I really like the set-up of Literautus’ monthly planner with its resolutions for the month and weekly planning. It’s an easy way for me to look up from the desk and see where I stand on any given day of the month.
Still, I’m not sure that all the organization tools in the world would make a difference when a ball of boundless energy shows up on Christmas morning.
Awww, she is too cute! Seems like your resolutions might include house training the puppy, lots of hugs, and daily walks!
Yep, Juliana, house-training is top of the To Do list at the Hall House. Unfortunately, it’s not at the top of HER list. 😉
Woo hoo! Congrats on your new addition. Libby is adorable. Mini Dachshund, yes? You’re in for ooh-gobs of fun. When Special Agent McGee was that size he’d curl up in my lap under my sweatshirt and snooze while I did my writing. When he got bigger he’d still try, but usually his nose and tail would stick out either end. 🙂
Yep, Libby’s a mini, Lisa. And she would like nothing better than to curl up on me the livelong day (after chewing and other necessities), but she’s the Beneficent Mr. Hall’s pup so she stays downstairs in his office. (It’s only a matter of time, though, before she can get up the stairs–and then it’s Libby-bar-the door.) 🙂
Cathy–I think it’s hopeless. At least hopeless until that little pup gets a little bigger and a little less cute. (Although Dachshunds are cute forever… So maybe you should just toss in your laptop and become the director of cute viral dog videos?)
Yep, Sioux, hopeless. And I *would* become the director of cute viral dog videos but I’m too busy right now, trying to keep little piddle puddles off the carpet. 🙂
Holy puppies, she’s adorable!
I love the planner you wrote about! It’s far better than the one I normally use. Thanks again!
She is that, Suzanne! 🙂 And you’re very welcome re: the planner! I have Great Expectations with it, too. 😉
AH! So cute. I’m glad the beneficent Mr. Hall finally got his puppy.
And, great planners. Thanks for sharing the wealth.
I’m glad, too, Sally (though he’s a bit old to be dealing with a 6 week old–) 🙂
The planners are free, too. So lovely to find generous writer types. 😉
Hi Cathy,
Lilly is adorable. What a wonderful Christmas present. I look forward to reading stories about the cute new addition to your family.
Thanks for the link to the planner. I need all the help I can get meeting deadlines. Wishing you and all the Halls a joyful and prosperous New Year.
I have a feeling there will be more cute posts to come, all right.
But you and deadlines? You’re the most deadline-meetingest writer I know! 🙂
Oh, so cute! 🙂
Happy New Year, Cathy! I hope 2014 is wonderful for you. 🙂
Thanks, Madeline! Hoping the same for you! 🙂
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh…I’m wagging my tail at this cutie. Years of fun ahead. I use a calendar also instead of a spreadsheet. It keeps me on my toes to see the boxes empty or filled in.
Drop by my blog for a laugh when you get time. Happy writing. I hope you hook a few this month!
I was all excited about looking up the planner, but then I saw Libby. Oh. She. Is. ADORABLE! I had the same reaction I get whenever I see a new baby – I just want to hold her and cuddle! Congrats on the new puppy…never a dull moment in the Hall household, I see. 🙂 Okay, NOW I’ll check out the planner!
