If you’ve zipped over from the Hall of Fame, you already know I’ve consolidated my two blogs into one big, crazy writing blog here at Finders & Keepers. And if you’ve just happened by, now you know, too. Isn’t it swell that we’re all on the same page?
I’ve wrestled with this merging for awhile now, and I have to tell you, I’m feeling good. I’ve got lots of little details to work out (and I’m not as adept at using WordPress as I am at Blogger), but still, I’m feeling good. It was time to make this change, and I’m downright giddy thinking about the extra time I’m going to have now, with only one blog to manage.
And yeah, there’s this tiny little voice that’s trying to squeak out something about me still wasting time playing online games and zipping around to a gazillion posts on Twitter and watching Youtube videos, but I’m not listening.
It’s a new year, it’s a new day, it’s a (sorta) new blog…and I’m feeling good.

This is all well and good, but WHERE did you find a squirrel with that coloration on this planet in the photo on your masthead? Much less, one eating a Tom’s cheese cracker. AND, more importantly, HOW did he get it if Himself was around?

That, dear Blake, is a fox squirrel and he (or she) was hanging about a golf course in Moultrie, GA. Apparently, they LOVE cheese crackers–and people. Though as you may have already ascertained, Himself was NOT around. 😉
But what about Cathy on a Stick? You’re not leaving her behind, are you? Say it isn’t so! A Cathy on a Stick is a terrible thing to waste.
Come on, Val, I may be too lazy to maintain two blogs, but leave Cathy-on-a-Stick? NEVER. (She’ll still be hanging out over there on Blogger. I sincerely hope that stick goes somewhere in 2012. I mean, all work and no play makes Cathy-on-a-stick a dull…er…stick.)

Oy. I have no idea about Blogger! But I think if you just click on the Follow button down on the right, you’ll get a nice little email saying, “That Cathy C. Hall is at it again over at her blog, in case you’d like to come and see.”
