And The Winner Is…

ImageI used my friendly, internet-neighborhood random generator to pick a name from those who commented on Trisha Slay’s novel, Not So Long Ago, Not So Far Away.

And though some of you clearly understand the whole Han Solo thing more than others, the generator was apparently immune to those charms and spat out…

Linda O’Connell!

Good news: Linda will probably loan Not So Long Ago, Not So Far Away to friends who are, in fact, not so far away.

Bad news: The rest of you are too far away for a loaner.

Good news: The book is available at your favorite bookseller! Thanks to all who stopped by to comment, and it goes without saying (but I’ll say it anyway), “May the Force (of good writing and reading) be with you.”

  1. Cathy–Linda is buried under a pile of acceptance letters right now, and cannot make it to her mail box. She’s fallen down—under too many publishing contracts–and she can’t get up.

Sooo, if you send ME the book, I will be glad to give her the book. Thank you for your cooperation and your flexibility. I’ll be looking for the book in the next week or so.

    • I am (according to the Beneficent Mr. Hall) the epitome of flexibility. But I’m not sure what that has to do with sending along this delightful book, Sioux. πŸ™‚

(But if you were to yell, “Look! A dirigible!” then grab the book from Linda and run, I would keep Linda busy until you made your getaway. I hope that’s cooperative enough.)

  2. I arrive too late to enter the contest, but not too late to say, “Duh, Han Solo!” Reason # 16 to dislike Lando: He can’t pronounce Han’s name.

This looks like a terrific trilogy. ‘Can’t wait to get it for myself (and my teenage fan-babies.) Thanks Cathy and Trisha!
