I Was Going to Blog About Read Kiddo Read Last Week. Really.

Last week, I had a Things-To-Do note about Read Kiddo Read, the site that James Patterson has set up, the site that’s busting at the seams with all kinds of wonderful children’s books.

This week, everywhere I look, there’s Read Kiddo Read. Which is great. Because James Patterson, the suspense writer, has developed a terrific site to encourage kids to read. I mean, just take a look at it here. It’s splendiferous!

But, shoot. I wanted to be the first to shout about it. Oh, well. I’m sure I won’t be the last singing the praises of Read Kiddo Read. (Check it out to see what’s hot in the children’s book aisles!)

How Do I Feel About Silverblade? Fantastic!

It’s not easy to find a children’s market for fantasy. Especially a paying market. Even if it’s for a wee amount.

Anyway, when I came across Silverblade, an online magazine that’s published quarterly, I hollered. Maybe I hollered in my head. Something like, “Yippee! Now I know where I can send that story!”

And as soon as I get a minute, I’ll send that story along. But right now, I’m putting the finishing touches on my Highlights Fiction Contest story. You still have time to put the finishing touches on your world cultures story.

Because that Highlights Contest is also a paying market. A HUGE, serious-hollering market.
