Oh, how I love George Gershwin’s, Summertime. And I love Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong, too. What this classic song has to do with writing, I don’t know.

Friday’s Find: Show, Don’t Tell

Writers are always being admonished to “show, don’t tell.” Maybe that’s what Lerner and Lowe were thinking about when they wrote this song for MY FAIR LADY.

Though to be honest, I was thinking about Good Friday, and how much we’re loved, and how even God knew that He had to show us.
